Choosing your interior style
A quick tour of the interior styles in Kansumi (from Scandinavian to Art Deco) and how to pick one that fits your room, your light, and your taste.
The hardest part of designing a room often isn't the layout. It's committing to a look. Kansumi ships a range of interior styles, each with its own palette, materials, and mood, so you can see your actual room in a direction before you spend a cent on paint or furniture.
There's no wrong answer, but a few questions narrow it fast. How much natural light does the room get? Airy styles like Scandinavian and Coastal lean into it; Industrial and Art Deco hold their own in darker spaces. What's already in the room: warm wood, cool tile, exposed brick? Working with your existing materials beats fighting them.
If you want calm, Japandi and Modern Minimalist keep things quiet and uncluttered. If you want warmth, Farmhouse, Rustic, and Mediterranean bring texture and earthy tone. And if you want the room to make a statement, Maximalist and Bohemian layer pattern and color without apology.
The fastest way to decide is to generate. Pick two or three styles, run them on the same validated layout, and compare the concepts side by side: the right one usually announces itself.
