AI Disclosure

1. Every render is AI-generated
Every interior concept Kansumi produces (the initial four concepts, regenerated concepts, style swaps, and chat-driven edits) is synthetically generated by an AI image model. Nothing you see in the workspace is a photograph of a real space or a human illustrator's work. This disclosure is made in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act's transparency obligations for AI systems that generate synthetic image content.
2. How we label AI content
Every render carries a machine-readable marker embedded in the file itself (a content-credential style comment), so the AI provenance travels with the image even if it's downloaded or shared outside Kansumi. In the product, concepts are always shown inside the AI workspace UI, never presented as a real photograph.
3. Visible watermarking
On the Free tier, renders and exports carry a visible tiled "Made with Kansumi" watermark. Pro removes the visible watermark from exports, but the embedded AI-provenance marker described in §2 is always present, on every tier, on every render. It is never optional.
4. AI-assisted extraction
The walls, doors, and windows detected from your uploaded sketch or floor plan are also AI-assisted, not manually drafted. We show a confidence level (green/amber/red) for each detected element and require you to confirm one real dimension before anything is treated as scaled. We never silently assume a measurement.
Projects that start from a room photograph skip this extraction step entirely: no dimensions are measured or validated, and the generated concepts are AI-reimagined versions of your photo: visual inspiration only, never a scaled plan.
5. Chat is AI, and can make mistakes
The in-workspace chat assistant is an AI system that proposes furniture moves, style changes, and answers fit/clearance questions. Proposed actions are validated against your actual scene geometry before they're applied, and you can always undo. Free-text answers (explanations, styling suggestions) are generated and may occasionally be wrong: verify anything safety- or budget-critical independently.
6. Not construction documents
As covered in our Terms of Service, AI-generated concepts and extracted geometry are for inspiration and early planning only: not construction documents. Always verify dimensions and structural details with a qualified professional before building anything.
